Greetings.

We're still looking for a snazzy description for this forum that is free of alcohol, drugs, scandalous sex and typos. Someone suggested "If you're new here, please introduce yourself here." We're just not sold on it yet.

When Baphnedia invited me to join, I didn't realise I was going to have to make an introduction post. Being the shy sort, I was reluctant. But with some prodding, and because you all seem like a nice and intelligent group of people, here I am.
Hi, I'm Rakarr. I don't set a lot of stock by species and I tend to experiment anyway, but I've been encouraged to introduce myself as a goblin because that's mostly how I represent. I like 'em, and they don't seem to get a lot of love from the gaming and/or fantasy communities as a whole, though that may change with World of Warcraft's upcoming expansion. Not that I'm a WoW goblin or anything. I can be trusted not to scam and swindle you, honest.
I'm also Australian, which you might surmise by my colourfully different spelling, unless you think I'm British.
I always have trouble talking about myself without specific sort of prompting, so I'm going to have to be mysterious and leave it there.
Being (obviously) still new, and shy (as mentioned) it's hard for me to tell how much I'm going to post here, but like I said, you all seem nice and intelligent, and I'm told I know some of you, so that's something.

Greetings! Well, I guess for the moment that we're up to one Imp and one Goblin... we don't take too much stock in species here, either, except for our stock of emoticons. Its good to have you here. Here, have yourself a duck, and throw it at Breimh. He likes duck.

But, are you terribly mysterious? }|=) Sorry, just had to get a quote from Mystery Men in there somehow. My bad.

Glad you spoke up. I have a number of friends from Down Under, and am pleased to meet another from that area, too.

An imp too! That's rare. They too fall under my umbrella of awesome underdog species, though by that time I had already chosen goblin as a personificiation.

I think I'll avoid doing anything of the sort until I work out who has the fire breath and who doesn't.

Well, if you insist...

Yes, needless aggression (or egotism) makes many a community difficult to settle in. It's always nice to find one where the atmosphere is of mutual respect, friendliness and fun. But I feel like I'm stating the obvious.

I am, indeed, terribly mysterious, and I am also from downunder. Did I mention - oh, yes, I did say that. I thought for a moment some statistic in my profile gave me away, but instead I mentioned where I was from and my memory failed me. This happens all the time, unfortunately.

Did I overquote?

I just had one of my "kids" come visit Purrzah and I, a week ago. He hails from Perth. I'm curious to know how close you might be to that area, Rakarr, if you're willing to share. If not, I do understand. }|=)
