I blew up a whole bunch of bots. Due to being away for a bit, I skimmed the list of all who joined since September 13th, 2009, and cleared out everyone who looked like a bot. Or the President of Iran. He was signed up too, but I doubt the validity of the email address he had. We had so many posts waiting approval, that some had stacked on one another (which tells me they were being bots, every last one of them).

Maybe that's a game you can come up with. Then members can destroy spambots in the game, so you don't have to do it all the time yourself.

Oooh, and then we could reassemble the spambots in new ways (an arm from one, combined with legs and torso from others) and send them back to the place they came from on search-and-destroy missions. }|=)

One friend I mentioned this game to asked, "Do you think the spammers would actually learn not to continue their internet activities if they had such bots coming back to haunt them?"

My reply was, "All I know is that it would be fun while it lasted!" }|=)
